The Circu-Lator is engineered for high capacity and durable operation. This system combines the reliability of extra tough rugged construction with easy operation, built to keep pace with harvest. It provides totally automatic in-bin continuous flow drying. The drying zone of a Circu-Lator is maintained at the bottom of the grian bin. Therefore, heated air blown into the bin at floor level must travel upward through wet grain to escape. As a result, the hot air becomes fully moisture saturated before it’s exhausted-eliminating heat waste. As the grain dries, it is removed from the botton of the bin, layer by layer, by the tapered sweep auger.

Individual Shivvers Components
Fans & Heaters
Shivvers drying fans are in a class of their own. Only Shivvers offers dryers designed to specifically increase the speed, safety, and economy of in-bin continuous flow drying. The selection of the proper burner and fan will determine to a large measure that capacity and satisfaction you will receive from your in-bin continuous flow system. These systems require high levels of evenly controlled heat and maximum volumes of air flow for full performance. Shivvers dryers deliver capacity under the most difficult conditions – because they are built tough for the job.

Controls & Accessories
CompuDry™ Command
The CompuDry® Command Center constantly monitors conditions such as grain moisture, grain temperature, and plenum temperature, while also controlling all components of the system. Designed with the operator in mind, it is easy to use with fingertip control of your entire drying process.
EZ Check Control
With the addition of a Turbo-Booster to the Blue Flame™ Dryer, you can increase drying capacity in any counter-flow performance system.
Low Level Grain Drying Control Box
This control box is used to keep the grain level between two limit switches in a grain drying bin. The grain is supplied from a wet holding tank. The control will turn on a horizontal feed auger and an inclined fill auger when the drying bin requires grain.
Sequence Timer
The use of Sequence Timers allows you to customize the on times for multiple transfer augers and run individual transfer augers only as long as necessary to empty them. Enhanced life is gained from augers that only run as long as needed and the operation is also quieter.
Rotation Detector
The Rotation Detector will monitor any rotating shaft or pulley and will activate a relay if the rotation speed is outside the pre-programmed limits. It is normally installed and wired to start monitoring when a motor is started.
Command Center Expansion Box
With the addition of a Turbo-Booster to the Blue Flame™ Dryer, you can increase drying capacity in any counter-flow performance system.
Auxiliary Timer Kit
This timer kit controls all Continuous Flow and Auxiliary Augers connected to the CompuDry® Command Center. When the Low Grain Shut-Off shuts down the system, the augers set to automatic will run for the time delay set by this timer.
Dial Thermometer
This long stem thermometer mounts with the probe into the plenum chamber to give an actual temperature reading inside plenum. Monitoring plenum temperatures allows the dryer operator to confirm the plenum temperature.
Static Pressure Gauge
Used to measure back pressure in the plenum area of the bin. Depending upon which style of fan and heater you use to dry, a static pressure measurement is important. Knowing the static pressure in the plenum can tell the operator the grain depth that works to obtain the best quality, efficiency and capacity.
Motor Load Monitor
The Motor Load Monitor Kit provides a normally closed contact which opens when the load on a motor drops below a certain level for a selectable time delay (1-100 seconds). It could also be used to detect an overload on a motor but that feature is not normally used. The kit was originally designed to be used in a Low Level Control Box for shutting down augers when the wet storage tank ran out of grain.
Floors & Supports
Without a doubt the best drying floor on the market. Compare Shivvers standard floor with its 23% open area to our competitors floors with their 12% open area. So whether you need drying bin floors, storage bin floors, or small grain floors; you can’t buy a better floor!
Standard Floor
Shivvers standard Channel-Lock Floor features 23% open area, which aids in eliminating static pressure problems incurred in higher grain depths and multiple grain situations. It’s 8” plank with a patented center rib design gives the appearance of two 4” planks side-by-side. This design provides far greater strength, especially with the In-Bin Continuous-Flow Drying and deep depth aeration applications.
Small Grain Floor
Shivvers also offers a Small Grain Floor for canola and other small grains. This floor is designed with an open area of 19.5%, using a 0.054% round hold punch. The small grain floor is also used whenever ultra high capacity sweeps are used as in the Dri Flo 1000 or High Torque Systems.
Steel Floor Supports
Shivvers Steel Floor Supports are ideal for use under drying and storage floors. Rails are made with a channel opening on the underside that accepts the support legs. The legs snap into place for ease of installation. Rails are configured and tied together at predetermined lengths to maintain the strength required under grain depths of up to 30 feet (16ft for Circu-lators). The narrow design allows maximum airflow with minimum obstruction.
Grain Spreaders / Level Dry
Without a doubt the best drying floor on the market. Compare Shivvers standard floor with its 23% open area to our competitors floors with their 12% open area. So whether you need drying bin floors, storage bin floors, or small grain floors; you can’t buy a better floor!
Controlled Flow Spreader
The Controlled Flow Grain Spreader is designed to spread grain level when other spreaders can’t get the job done. Its special geometric spreader pan gently drops the grain kernels in a unique, even spiraling pattern just where they belong.
Grain Hog Spreader
The Grain Hog Spreader is a high capacity grain spreader that distributes grain as it is added to the bin, giving a more even air flow throughout your drying bin. The Grain Hog is a large body spreader with your choice of large or small pans, depending on your need, and is fully adjustable from the center hole using an extension wrench.
Mini Diverter
Shivvers Mini Diverter mounts above the Grain Hog Spreader and directs the grain stream to one side of the spreader while slowly rotating, giving the effect of perfectly centered grain. The Mini Diverter is rated for augers up to 10” diameter, or approximately 3,000 bushels of wet corn per hour.
Level-Dry
The Level-Dry’s grain leveling auger rotates around the Circu-Lator’s center vertical auger, spreading grain evenly at any depth selected by the operator. Any dips or low spots in the grain are filled to give a smooth, uniform surface of wet grain after each pass of the Level-Dry.
Transfer Augers & Auger Accessories
Continuous-Flow Transfer Auger
Heralded as one of the best in the industry, Shivvers heavy duty continuous-flow augers are designed to move hundreds of thousands of bushels of grain annually. As grain is lifted in the bin by the center vertical auger, it is deposited in the center vertical boot.
Horizontal Transfer Auger
When multiple bins are used in the system, you may need to add additional horizontal transfer augers with drop outlets to fill the various bins. All horizontal transfer augers are automatically controlled by the CompuDry® Command Center or they could be manually turned on to transfer grain.
Jumpster Auger
The Shivvers Jumpster auger offers the flexibility you need for grain handling after drying. Jump from the horizontal unload auger to a grain transfer device, whether it is an air transfer, elevator leg, loop, or transfer auger. It is designed with an 8” unloader and is adjustable to virtually any angle from vertical to horizontal, or from straight away from the drying bin to a 90° angle to the right.
Vertical Unload Auger
Commonly referred to as a truck auger, the vertical unload auger provides a tremendous advantage when unloading dried grain from the drying tank into a truck. It eliminates the need for any auxiliary transport auger.
Other Accessories
Slide Gate Opener
The slide gate opener provides a helping hand, providing a lever to open the slide gate in the center basket to allow for unloading the bin. It eliminates any strain needed to open the slide gate with the extra weight of grain setting on it.
Floor Door
The floor door allows easy access to the plenum area in your drying bin. They can be installed over each hanger bearing in the unload auger, allowing quick and easy access for maintenance.
Clean-Out Door
The clean-out door is an opening in the bin’s plenum area allowing any fines to be blown out from under the drying floor. By keeping the plenum area clean, air is better able to flow through the floor for grain drying.
Intermediate Well
The intermediate well is an additional gravity flow outlet for use on horizontal unloads. Additional outlets for the grain, including the center well, speeds bin unloading on all Shivvers Circu-Lator and Dri-Flo Machines. Intermediate wells are available in 6” and 8” sizes.
Bin Stiffeners
Shivvers offers bin reinforcements for standard duty or older grain bins. Bin stiffeners allows these existing bins to be used in situations when they might otherwise need to be replaced before use as a wet holding or drying bin.
Roof Vents
Roof vents allow the drying air to be exhausted from the drying bin. During the counter-flow drying process, a large column of heated air is blown into and up through the grain. As the moisture-laden air exits the grain, it moves upward in the bin towards the roof.
Belt Shield
The Shivvers Performance System Belt Shield insures safety and offers access to the belts and jaw clutch for easy routine maintenance.
Auxiliary Sweep Auger
With a Shivvers Circu-Lator 1 or a Circu-Lator JR, the auxiliary sweep auger is a carry-in unit that aids in cleaning out the bin after the grain has reached the angle of repose. It features a drag board that virtually sweeps the bin clean.
